The problem

Coarse grass was smothering everything. We wanted disturbance but couldn't justify owning livestock on 30 acres.

What we tried

A grazing licence with a local regen farmer: his eight Luings, our sward, six weeks in autumn at high density. We set the moves, he checked the stock.

Structural variety visible after two autumns.
